Wood Borer Control

Common Furniture Beetle :

These borers attack furniture, structural wood, flooring, and decorative woodwork

Prefer old, well-seasoned wood, especially softwoods such as Baltic Pine or White Pine

Attack some hardwoods, most notably Blackwood and imported English oak

Prefer calm, humid conditions

Liquid borer (powder post borer) :

These borers produce very fine powder dust similar to the consistency of talcum powder

Attack some hardwood timber sapwood

These borers cause severe structural weakening to the wood has a high sapwood content

Treatment :

These borers are the largest among all and most difficult to control that naturally invade properties.
